The Mesocosms platform consists in 18 experimental units (typically hosting lysimeters of up to 1m², 2m depth, 2m canopy height) that allow the simulation and measurements of wide range of environmental scenarios while benefiting of higher replication, more accurate measurements of carbon and water fluxes, posibility to simulate pre-industrial atmospheric CO2 concentrations and continuous 13C labelling.
